Solo: A Sydney crime thriller starring Colin Friels(Malcolm), Angie Milliken (MDA) and several of the Fat Pizza cast. Centres around Friels' character as an ageing, jaded hitman trying to retire. His crime boss superiors want him to do one last job, namely rub out a beautiful young uni student. Predictable, but enjoyable, stuff from the charismatic Friels. Though Sydney crime scene dramas better done in Friels' own Water Rats and the movies Dirty Deeds and Two Hands. (Not forgetting Sexy Beast for the retiring crim aspect) 3.5/5
