Hair today, gone tomorrow.

Jen, a Canadian girl working at the Billabong hostel cut it for a steal at $10. It's a little shorter and neater. Well, I do start a new job next Monday...

I'm getting old. Too many GB teenagers at the hostel are heightening the number of grey hairs. :(

    What are GB teenagers?
Have you been to the workplace yet to see where it is and the transport there? The weather map continues to show 30+ for Perth - It was hot here yesterday, but thankfully rained early this morning and has been pleasantly cooler today, and forecast to stay in low 20s most of the week.
I liked this quote in the church notices by Anonymous
"Life is the journey. It isn't always the destination. As we walk this path of life, we will make mistakes, stumble many times, fall once in a while. But a hand will reach down and pull us back up, perhaps a friend's hand, perhaps the hand of God. But always there is hope, as long as there is a single breath left in you, there is the chance for success, not defeat."

    Pete

We love reading your posts - you sound so eloquent!

We've got a packed week of various school holiday activities including Glenda taking the boys to Lion King (we'll wander the city, Fed Square etc and absorb the vibe!), the zoo and C/W Games! It's shaping up to be busy!

Will's back to work on 20th also so that's the next challenge.

Anyway, we are enjoying your posts - it sounds like you are enjoying yourself at least!

The street directory which Phyllis posted on 4-3-06 arrived today - 10 days later! Also a window envelope from Sun microsystems with - Bill to
Peter Cox visible in the window. Do you want us to open it? You might like to send Dad an email if you do - also give us an address to forward the street directory to - or we could return to sender and you could arrange with Phyllis to get it direct from her.
I've given Phyllis, and Evelyn & Kris your website.
Daniel and Jeanine have shifted to Werribee.

  7. Sorry Cathie, she only cut my hair! :(

I haven't met any suitable women in hostels. The few friendly, talkative womenfolk I meet are travelling with partners. Either that or they snarl at you when you try to talk to them in English instead of their native German, French or whatever.

And only the affluent Northern Hemisphere, 'western' countries such as England, Ireland, Germany, France, Finland, Norway and Canada travel. A couple of italian chaps in this lastest hostel but of course they don't speak English. Thus every language bar Spanish!
